Visited in October. Very friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere, delicious cake, etc. just beautiful.

Very nice and cozy café in Roth unter Rietburg. Lovingly prepared breakfast. Coffee from the portafilter coffee maker. Very comfortably furnished. Nicely decorated.

A café with a very special ambience. The cakes and pies are all homemade, the products for them come from the region. The service was very attentive and 😊 friendly. I always like to go to Café Ludwig1.

Mega cool ambience that you wouldn't trust the café. The cakes are just as delicious 👍🏻😍 ... friendly and well organized in Corona times. Always worth a detour!

I went there for breakfast with my girlfriend. It's all very well structured. Due to Corona, a red thick rope is currently hung in front of the premises. We were greeted very friendly. The hands were disinfected with a spray bottle. The menu with the breakfast options was on the seat, i.e. the basics plus additional drinks, supplements, etc. The contact details are also recorded on this sheet. The sheet is also used if, for example, you just want a coffee with cake. The tables are cleaned after each visitor. You feel good here and the hygiene standards are adhered to. The premises invite you to linger So now for breakfast: it was a stunner !! 😋 Everything was plentiful, the yoghurt with fruit a dream, the sparkling wine is really good and at the right temperature! The rolls (2 variations) crispy and fresh. The consistency of the scrambled eggs is perfect. It is worth going there hungry. But it's not just breakfast. The selection of cakes is varied and each one looked very tasty and is certainly also very good in taste. I will test this out on occasion. In other words: a great café to recommend. We felt very comfortable and will be back.

A normal cafe in C19 times with waiting time until you can go to the cafe. The cafe is not cheap, but the cake is very tasty.

The two of us studied at Café Ludwig in the inner courtyard and were asked to leave the café (had ordered food and had a drink there), as this was not an office. The gratinated bread with cheese was dry, my breakfast for € 12 was mini and I wasn't full (I weigh 58 kg and don't eat excessively). Not to be recommended, rude.

There are always unusual places. The Ludwig, located on Theresienstrasse in Rhodt, is one of those - unusual and, no matter what I've ever ordered - unusually delicious! Since it was founded, I've been there again and again and again and again I postpone the inevitable end of my cake enjoyment as far as possible - and despite the unusual generosity of the pieces of cake, it will eventually be eaten, a shame! Breakfast and the deliciously prepared 'royal' breads are definitely worth a stop at Ludwig. Even the king would probably be impressed!

When we go on a tour of the Palatinate, there must always be a coffee break in the Café Ludwig. Interesting ambience and above all delicious cakes, you can't avoid it. We recommend!

The lady who served us (presumably the owner) was pretty annoyed and rude. My girlfriend and I noticed this for the second time. The cake was great, but that doesn't make it all by itself. It's a shame, but I don't need a coffee visit where you don't feel welcome.

Nice and comfortably furnished café. Was there for breakfast on Sundays, is very tasty. Reservation recommended as it was full. Service was super friendly and waiting time was pleasant. Would love to come back.
